For many marginalized American citizens, non-naturalized residents, and citizens of other nations the American status quo is often at odds with thriving.  The Police - local and state and federal - are an institution dedicated to maintaining this status quo.  As such, persons striving after peace and justice often find themselves victims of police repression and violence when questioning and challenging the existing state of affairs.  This piece is intended to both expose and delegitimize the power that we the people allow to be used over and against us so that few may enjoy the American Dream.
